When in angst - MAKE ART.
Once upon a time, I tore my meniscus.
A year-and-a-half later, I REALLY tore my meniscus and displaced the entire joint. In fact, I nearly gave myself spontaneous meniscus surgery with one little skirt-flick. The original tear took a 90-degree turn, leaving only one tiny flap in the corner that was still attached. We’re pretty sure that loose flap got folded over and lodged inside my knee for an entire week.
It was May 2019, and both of my chiropractors just happened to be taking vacation at the same time. Medicaid also never sent me crutches, so…yeah. We had a bit of an adventure until I could get in and have my knee put back in place.
This incident derailed everything I’d been working on for months. It was supposed to be the grand launch of a project I’d been working on for a decade. The injury happened on Day 1 of shooting what was supposed to be my introductory videos to Earth Dance. Instead, I wound up on the ground, once more in ashes so my Elements System could instruct ME.

Invaluable.

I'd always done this by delivering a wide variety of choreo…
